Adding real estate
The Net worth page covers non-financial wealth: real estate, vehicles, jewelry, foreign property and anything else that doesn't come from an imported statement. Each asset is entered by hand and rolls into your net worth alongside wallet, bank, card and cash flow.
Step by step
Click Add asset to open the form and fill in:
- Kind — pick Real estate (covers houses, apartments and land).
- Holder — Personal or Business; business assets only count toward the business total.
- Name — a label to identify the asset (e.g. "Downtown apartment").
- Acquisition date and Value — in BRL or USD; a USD value is converted to BRL using the exchange rate on the acquisition date.
- Vendor CPF/CNPJ (optional).
- Identifier — for real estate, use this for the property's registry number.
Click Save.
Acquisition value is frozen
Once created, the acquisition date and value can't be edited — they feed the Bens e Direitos code on your IRPF filing and need to stay stable. To fix a data-entry mistake, delete the asset and re-create it; there's no way to edit historical cost afterward.
Current value
The asset's current value (used only for net worth, never for IRPF) isn't a field you overwrite — it comes from the asset's event timeline. Until an event is recorded, net worth falls back to the acquisition value. See Understanding the asset timeline to log a revaluation, an improvement, or a sale.
